My girlfriends and I are visiting Barcelona this last week of July, and we’re hoping to experience the nightlife. We reached out to a few promoters, but they were quoting us €50-70 pp per night, which seems pretty insane. We love house, pop (white girl music lol), and reggaeton music.

I was hoping some locals or people who’ve been out in Barcelona recently could help us out:

(1) Which clubs/bars would you recommend? We’re totally fine paying a cover fee, but €50+ per night feels excessive. We also don’t mind waiting in line if it’s reasonable, we just don’t want to spend hours there.

(2) Where do people in their late teens/early 20s usually go?

(3) What’s the best way to buy tickets? Should we book somewhere online or buy at the door?

(4) What’s a normal price for entry? Do tickets usually include a drink?

(5) What’s the typical timeline for a night out in Barcelona? What time do people usually arrive, and when do clubs start getting busy?

(6) Are there any discounts, student deals, guest lists, or other tips we should know about?
