LNLAdmin Sharing a new way to find people to do things with in London from a local 29F. 10+ meetups and 70+ new people in the community since launching a month ago
I (29F) built a free tool called common. It’s a place to post real-world activities (as casual/informal as you like) and find others nearby who want to join.
Things that have taken place in the past month include coworking in cafes, air dry clay crafts, comedy gigs, films, various sports/fitness activities, exploring new parts of London, photography and lots more
There are now over 70 people in the community(!!) and I’ve everyone I’ve met through it has been genuinely friendly, open-minded, and just good fun to spend time with
It’s a bit less anonymous than reddit to feel safer – you know someone’s first name and optionally their photo before meeting them. You can also set a preference for women-only events if that’s your thing
