Hey everyone,

I was in London this weekend and on Saturday I went to see Ben UFO at Corsica Studios. The event was sold out and it was my first time there. I’d heard so many people say Corsica is one of the best clubs in London, especially compared to Fabric, which some people describe as more “touristy”.

I have to say… I really didn’t get it.

The venue itself is cool and atmospheric, but the crowd and especially the lack of space made it impossible to dance. In Room 1 it was literally impossible to move. My friend and I went in, grabbed a beer, and left shortly after — we were inside less than an hour.

Luckily, we also had tickets for Continuum at Fabric, and honestly that was one of the best decisions we could’ve made. We arrived just in time for Ellen Allien, and her set was incredible.

The vibe at Fabric felt way more relaxed, with plenty of space to dance properly and enjoy the music without feeling crushed. Totally different experience.

I’m genuinely curious:

Is Corsica always like this?

Was it just that night / a sold-out Ben UFO crowd?

Or am I just not the target audience?

Right now, I’d honestly put it in the worst 3 club experiences of my life, which really surprised me given its reputation.
