Built a small London restaurant search tool because I’m tired of 4.4-rated mediocrity – would love thoughts
I’ve been living in East London for a few years and spend way too much time looking for and trying new spots. Lately I’ve found Google Maps kind of useless – everything’s a 4.4 and somehow still mid.
So I built a small tool for myself called Cora.
You type something like “cosy wine bar”, “authentic neapolitan”, “listening bar” etc and it gives you just 3 suggestions, with a short take on the vibe instead of star ratings.
It only covers East + Central for now (that’s what I know best).
It’s free, no login or anything.
If anyone feels like stress-testing it, I’d genuinely love to know:
- Are the picks actually good?
- What feels off?
- What’s missing?
Happy to take brutal feedback.
