apologies for the dumb questions but I’m new to this (and london) and want to be a part of this cool community, I’ve always wished I could experience such freedom in my body as it seems people who dance do

25F for context and would be solo, i don’t have any friends in london yet

1) what do you wear? is jeans, crop top and sneakers acceptable? I know people dress up for festivals but for your weekly rave what do girls tend to wear? is it too basic?

2) i see a lot of people on here do go solo, do people tend to be chatty or do you make conversation? or just go purely for the music and not talk to anyone?

3) any faux pas I should avoid ?

4) any particular venues or events that tend towards an age range of mid 20-30’s / queer people? since i’m new Im open to trying most music and can’t really differentiate between styles, so thinking about places i’d be most comfortable in rather than going for artists atm

5) i doubt i can do anything other than jump on the spot for dancing lol, not really a question but curious if that’s the norm or can most people move in cooler ways lol
